1826 On The Green Announces New Hours

On March 1, 2009 new hours and a new menu was announced for 1826 On The Green At Farmers Hall Restaurant

Chef Lorett Hayes likes to refer to her restaurant as Pendleton's Front Porch and if you have ever enjoyed her delicious cuisine while sitting at one of the outside tables, you know exactly why. I have sat out there many a time with friends and you do get the feeling that you are relaxing and dining on Pendleton's Front Porch. Chef Lorett is not only clever but she is an excellent cook and hostess. Your dining experience is very special due to the historic setting and exquisite meal but also because Lorett is so hospitable.

Happy Hours are from 5 - 6:30 on Wednesday through Saturday so meet your friends for a toddy and a taste of some of their "Evening Starters". Some of the choices include Coastal Crab Cake, Fried Asparagus, Crab Dip, Raspberry Brie and Gourmet Flatbread.

The Dinner Entrees include such things as Glazed Pork, Rib eye Steak Madeira, Petite Filet, Bronzed Salmon, Grecian Chicken, Rack of Ribs, Crab Cakes and a variety of Pasta Dishes.

For lunch you can have your choice of Soup, Sandwich or Salad. Sandwiches include Rusty's Chicken Salad Sandwich, Roasted Pork Loin, Smoked Turkey Chicken Cordon Blueu, Steak Burger, and a Ham Bacon Melt. Salads include Rusty's Chicken Salad, Cranberry Chicken Salad and Blackened Grilled Chicken Salad.

Come sit on Pendleton's Front Porch and enjoy the scenery, the people and the delicious food!

I met some friends on Pendleton's Front Porch at 1826 On The Green today for Happy Hour. We sat outside and the crowd crew to several tables before I had to leave. The Raspberry Baked Brie was scrumptious but the big hit was some new items that Chef Lorett was trying at the request of some of her friends. A great time was had by all.
