I would like to welcome Tiger Town CrossFit to Pendleton, SC. They recently moved to 134 E. Main Street from the Garrett Shopping Center in Clemson. This is the building that was previously Colonial Square Antique Mall and before that it was Pendleton Antique Co. and known as the Quattlebaum building. The building was owned by Richard and Shelby Quattlebaum for many years and then by Scott Ward in more recent years. Many, many years ago it was the Ford Motor Company.

Whim Wham Vapes Update

After 35 years
of smoking the traditional tobacco cigarettes, I made the switch to Electronic
Cigarettes on August 2nd, 2011 and have never looked back! I am so convinced
that the E Cig can and does help people like me to kick the tobacco
habit, that I decided to invest and open my own E
Cig shop and I am finally online! Some may think that the name I picked is kind
of odd, but I chose to name my business “Whim Wham Vapes” because a whim wham is
“a whimsical object or device especially of ornament or dress; or fancy object”.

I love our Pendleton Businesses
This past Monday, I tagged along with some friends as we went around visiting businesses on the square to tell them about Fall Festival, the Historic House Tour, the Scarecrow Contest and the ad for Fall Festival.
We started out with grits, toast and coffee at the Village Baker and I must say that they make the best grits ever. Their grits are even better than my husband's and that is saying a lot. We got ourselves organized and heading out on our mission.
First stop was Still On The Square and we went down the list telling Cindy everything she needed to know about Fall Festival but we didn't leave without making some purchases. I love that Cindy is helping to promote local authors in her shop and was glad to see she had Jimmy Manley's New Book.
Next we went to Ammons Portrait Studio. Oh, he does have some beautiful photography in his studio and we enjoyed looking at all of it.
We visited with Jim at Bailes Cobbler Shop and he sure has a great business going on there. He is known to be do the best shoe repair in the upstate.
Charlie and Josh both were in at Blueridge Antiques and Colonial Square Antiques so we got to get in some browsing and visiting while we gave them all the information.
I went on up to Main Street Designs because I remember that I needed to make a hair appointment and meantime hubby calls and wants to meet for lunch. Jean and Jo continued on our mission and excused me for the rest of the day.
They said they had a great time and I was sorry that I wasn't with them. Maybe next time!

Lunch at Brandini's and a Tour of Liberty Hall Inn in Pendleton SC
Oh, what a wonderful lunch my friend and I had at our first time at Brandini's. We both ordered the Brandini's Stack and it was delicious. We enjoyed the staff who were so nice and welcoming and we even got to take a tour of Liberty Hall Inn. Roger at Southeastern Garden Center has it decorated so beautifully for Christmas.
Brandi Flores makes these Mosaic Tile Pieces herself. They are so lovely and can be seen throughout the Inn. Here is one of a table she made:

Fun with the Mystery Discount at The Mercantile in Pendleton SC
I love to shop at The Mercantile and enjoyed this morning's visit even though I was rushed, as usual. It was great to see Cindy and Bill and I found some great gifts and some taper candles that I needed. Here are a few of the sights around the store.
